The CyBio FeliX Series redefines flexible automation in the lab by delivering a compact yet powerful liquid-handling platform, designed to support a wide range of workflows—from routine pipetting to high-throughput sample processing. Whether you’re transferring single samples or operating in 384-well format, the FeliX adapts to your needs today and scales with the demands of tomorrow.
At its core, the CyBio FeliX features a uniquely designed two-level deck with 12 positions, enabling users to arrange microplates, tubes, reservoirs, and accessories in a compact space without compromising flexibility. The modular architecture supports pipetting heads ranging from 1 to 384 channels and a liquid volume range spanning 1 µL to 1,000 µL—including the innovative SELECT Head with eight independent channels for fast, flexible transfers—offering true versatility in format and scale. The system is built for adaptability: changeable pipetting heads, automatic tip/adapter loading, and optional tool changes (such as grippers and shaker/magnet units) allow rapid reconfiguration of workflows.
This makes the FeliX ideal for applications including plate replication, serial dilutions, (q)PCR setup, NGS library preparation, protein purification, and more. From a workflow perspective, the CyBio FeliX maximises efficiency: its compact footprint means it fits on a standard lab bench, freeing up valuable space. At the same time, its automation capabilities free users from repetitive manual pipetting, reduce human-error risk, improve reproducibility, and deliver walk-away time for other tasks.
The integrated CyBio Composer software offers a unified scripting environment linking hardware control, fluidics programming, and LIMS integration. For many pre-defined applications, such as nucleic acid extraction with the Extraction Set, the system includes ready-to-run protocols, reducing setup time and increasing throughput.
