The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is an international leader in genomics research. NHGRI develops resources, technologies and policies for advancing genomics and its application to improving human health. NHGRI, a part of the National Institutes of Health, also supports the training of investigators and the dissemination of genomic knowledge to the public and to health professionals.
