The Zika vinus (ZKV) non-structural protein I (NS1) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA) kit allows for the quantitative detection of both secreted and intracellular ZIKV NS1. The assay is suitable for evaluating ZIKV infections in vitro and serves as both a sensitive and specific means of testing numerous samples in a short period of time (total assay time <2 hours). This assay provides a high throughput alternative to conventional viral detection methods such as reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting. This assay is not validated for use with human samples.
