The complete IgG antibody was isolated from the antiserum as a complete molecule by immunoaffinity chromatography. They have an Fc portion and two antigen-binding Fab portions linked together by disulfide bonds, so they are bivalent.

Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with F(ab')2/Fab part of human IgG. It also reacts with the light chain of other human immunoglobulins. It is worth noting that it can be used for detection of CAR.
