The vector of anti-HIV chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) is constructed for the engineering of T cells to target Human HIV V1/V2 loop. The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a lentiviral vector expressing the first two (D1D2) extracellular domains of CD4 and scFv of anti-HIV antibody (clone PG145) linked to CD28 and CD3_ signaling domains. CD4 plays a key role in HIV-1 infections, the first two (D1D2) extracellular domains is a potent inhibitor of HIV-1 entry, which can be used in CD4-based CAR construction. And the vector product was designed for the treatment of AIDS.
